Today’s question to God is simple: "Jesus, will you ever leave me or forsake me?"
For some of you, the answer is obvious—but it’s not about knowing the right answer, it’s about hearing and feeling the Spirit of God testifying (Romans 8:16) with your Spirit.
This question helps you find the place internally where the Holy Spirit speaks to your spirit.
Before you start to talk with Jesus, ground yourself with this question—not because you don’t "know" the answer, but to remember how it feels to hear God talk to you.
Let’s practice.
Ask: "Jesus, will you ever leave me or forsake me?"
Maybe you’re not sure that God is with you. Maybe you’ve felt abandoned by God because of your circumstances. It’s all the more important that you ask God directly. You won’t know until you have a real and honest conversation with Him. Pay attention to the first thing that comes to your mind after you are honest with Him about how you feel. Your circumstances have told you one story about God—let Him speak directly to your heart now.
If you get an answer like "no" or "well, maybe" just take that right back to God.
Ask: "Jesus, I heard that maybe you’ll leave me, what’s the Truth?"
Then listen again and be open to what the Holy Spirit reveals.
